How do I create an account on The Pet Sitter?

Visit our signup page and enter your email address — we'll send you a secure sign-in link. Account creation takes less than a minute. Once registered, you can set up a pet owner profile, apply to become a sitter, or both. Email verification is required to activate your account and start using the platform.

Do I need to verify my email address?

Yes. After creating your account, we send a verification email to the address you registered with. Click the link in the email to verify your account. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or request a new verification email from the login page. Email verification helps us ensure account security and prevent spam.

Can I be both a pet owner and a pet sitter?

Yes. The Pet Sitter supports dual roles. You can have both an owner and a sitter profile on the same account. Use the role switcher in the navigation bar to toggle between your owner and sitter dashboards. This is perfect for pet lovers who both need care for their own pets and want to offer sitting services to others.
