How do I find a pet sitter near me?
Searching and browsing for sitters is coming soon — it is parked while we build it, and it will let you filter by service type (boarding, house sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare), pet type, availability dates, and distance.
In the meantime, sitters have a permanent profile page and booking link they can send you directly — from an Instagram bio, a business card, or a message. Open that link and you can see their experience, rates, photos and reviews, and request a booking straight away. If a sitter you already use is on The Pet Sitter, ask them for their link.
Is The Pet Sitter free for pet owners?
Yes, completely free. Pet owners never pay any platform fees, booking fees, or service charges. You pay the sitter for the care they provide at the rate they set — directly, using a method they accept, such as card through their own payment provider, bank transfer, PayID or cash. The Pet Sitter is funded by sitter subscriptions, not by charging pet owners.
What services are available on The Pet Sitter?
We offer five core services: pet boarding (your pet stays overnight at the sitter's home), house sitting (the sitter stays at your home while you are away), drop-in visits (the sitter visits your home for feeding, companionship, and a quick check-in), dog walking, and doggy daycare (daytime care at the sitter's home). Many sitters also offer add-on services such as administering medication, extra walks, or puppy care.
